ORLEANS— Local authorities are advising motorists to seek alternate routes this morning following a traffic disruption on a major local thoroughfare.
The Orleans Police Department reported that a semi-truck has broken down on State Road 337 East, specifically in the area near Hall Brothers. The disabled vehicle is currently blocking a portion of the roadway, causing significant delays for through traffic.
A heavy-duty wrecker is currently en route to clear the scene.
Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route to avoid congestion while the vehicle is being removed.
Police have not yet provided an estimated time for when the roadway will be fully reopened. Commuters should expect delays in the immediate vicinity until the towing operation is complete.
