Danial Davis Stafford, 77, of Bedford, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2026.
Born in 1948 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Wayne and Pauline Stafford. Danial attended Needmore High School. He married Evelyn Brewer on March 31, 1989, and she survives.
Other surviving relatives include his children, Steve (Michelle) Stafford of Bedford, Lora (Kevin) Andis of Springville, Randall Needhamer of Bedford, Rhonda (Ron) Johnson of Bedford, and Rebecca (Randel) Neeley of Bedford; one brother, Tom (Brenda) Stafford of Bedford; three sisters, Fran Cobb, Terri Stillions and Ann (Don) Hillenburg, all from Heltonville. He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Danial worked at General Motors for over 32 years and was a devoted member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Bedford. He had a deep love for classic cars and especially enjoyed attending car show with his 1955 Crown Victoria alongside his brother Tommy, and his 1956 Chevy. A skilled craftsman, Danial, took pride in upholstering his vehicles, boat, and various chairs in his workshop. He found joy in mowing his lawn, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his beloved dog, Nikki. Danial also proudly served as a volunteer firefighter with the Pleasant Run Fire Department.
The family would like to thank the Southern Care Hospice staff and nurses Desirie, Linsey and Mistie.
Funeral services for Danial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Pastors Gary Thoma and Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Judah Cemetery in Bedford. Visitation will be on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
