Edward R. Couch, 70 of Springville passed away in Bloomington on January 9, 2026.
Edward was born in Bedford on September 30, 1955, to Philip L. Couch and Mary Edith (Edington) Couch Collings. Edward married Kim (Wittenmyer) Couch and she survives.
Edward retired from NWSC Crane, he was a US Air Force veteran, and member of the Avoca Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mary E. Collings, his wife, Kim Couch, two children, Rebecca Dawn Goan, and Dustin Wade Couch, three stepchildren, Matthew Young, Nicole Young, and Nathan Deatherage, two sisters, Phyllis (Dave) Stalker, and Patricia (Steve) May, one brother, Robert Couch, four grandchildren, Benjamin Couch, Jaxson Couch, Annaliese Young, and Gunner Grubb, several nieces and nephews.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Philip Couch, granddaughter, Leslie Jane Goan, sister-in-law, Trish Wages Couch.
Memorial services will be held on Friday January 16, 2026, at Cresthaven Funeral Home with Nathaniel Kelly officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
