JCBank announces the promotions of two commercial lending officers

SEYMOUR — JCBank recently announced the promotion of two seasoned professionals within its Commercial Lending department. These appointments reflect JCBank’s dedication to internal talent development and strategic growth.

David Richardson

Dave Richardson has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Commercial Lending Officer. With 31 years of banking expertise, Richardson’s promotion recognizes his exceptional leadership in Commercial Lending. A retired U.S. Naval Officer, he blends disciplined strategic vision with deep industry knowledge. Since joining JCBank in 2019, Richardson has also supported community initiatives like the United Way of Johnson County, USO of Central Indiana, and Disabled American Veterans.

Michelle Schaefer

Michelle Schaefer has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Commercial Lending Officer/
Development Coordinator. All of Schaefer’s 17 years in banking have been with JCBank. She has also worked as an accountant, controller, and business manager with other local organizations. Schaefer’s promotion expands her responsibilities beyond commercial lending to include serving as a resource and mentor for other commercial lenders, where she will provide training on credit structuring, relationship management, and business development practices. She is active in the Columbus and Seymour communities, serving on the boards of Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County, Columbus Chamber of Commerce, and Lutheran Resort Association, and volunteers with Maverick Challenge.
