JENNINGS COUNTY – On December 16, 2025, the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force served a search warrant on a residence on County Road 200 West in Jennings County, Indiana, which resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old North Vernon man. This was an Indiana State Police investigation where detectives were assisted by task force members from the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Jeffersonville Police Department.Â
Between March and May 2025, Indiana State Police ICAC Investigators received four cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). These cybertips were reported to NCMEC by a social media platform that indicated that an unknown suspect was uploading images depicting child sexual abuse material to the application’s messenger service.
Investigative efforts by state police detectives led them to South County Road 200 West, where members of the ICAC task force executed a search warrant at the residence this week. Through the use of investigative and forensic methods, the suspect in the case was identified as Tommy Jason Lee Dupuis, age 22, who lived at the residence.
As a result of the investigation, Investigators arrested Dupuis on a preliminary charge of Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material, a level 5 felony. He was incarcerated in the Jennings County Jail pending an initial appearance in court.Â
The investigation is ongoing. Additional arrests are possible.
The Indiana ICAC Task Force is a multiagency task force that investigates and prosecutes persons who use the internet to exploit or entice children sexually. The Indiana State Police oversees the task force.
