BEDFORD — Supporting People in Need (SPIN), a community assistance program operating out of the Men’s Warming Shelter in Bedford, is hosting a holiday cookie sale later this month to raise funds for local residents experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

Cookie boxes will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19. Orders may be picked up at the shelter, located at 1414 H St. in Bedford, or delivered for free within city limits.

A suggested donation of $25 is listed for one dozen cookies, while a $40 donation is recommended for two dozen. Organizers said all proceeds remain in Lawrence County and directly support SPIN’s local outreach efforts.

The cookie boxes are being promoted as gift options for teachers, coworkers, church staff, or for personal enjoyment during the holiday season.
