Englewood Monuments blends family legacy, craftsmanship and compassion

BEDFORD Englewood Monuments is a family-owned and operated monument company led by Brad and Diana Branham, offering personalized memorial services rooted in generations of craftsmanship and a people-first approach to service.

The business is located on property once owned by Brad’s grandfather, Herman “Grampy” Deckard, who operated the original Englewood Cut Stone Mill. That history directly inspired the name Englewood Monuments and continues to shape the company’s focus on precision, detail, and respect for every family it serves.

Englewood Monuments provides a range of services, including monuments, memorials, custom engraving, and restoration and cleaning of existing monuments. The Branhams work closely with families, guiding them through each step of the process with compassion, clear communication, and careful attention to detail.

Englewood Monuments is located at 1830 10th Street in Bedford

Brad Branham began his career in the stone industry in 1996, starting in the quarry and working his way through stone mills while completing his apprenticeship in cutting and as a planerman. His experience and technical skill form the foundation of the company’s craftsmanship today.

Diana Branham brings a background in hearing healthcare, where she worked toward a hearing aid dispensing license. That professional experience emphasized listening, understanding individual needs, and helping people navigate important, often emotional decisions. She now applies those skills in the monument industry, assisting families as they create meaningful and lasting tributes.

In addition to design and customer care, Diana is involved in monument restoration and cleaning, a service the company offers to help preserve memorials and the stories they represent. “I would have never thought I would say that one of my favorite things to do is to go and sit in a cemetery, turn on my Christian music, and clean a monument. It is one of the most relaxing things for me to do now.”

The Branhams emphasize a genuine, people-first approach to business. They aim to provide personal service rather than transactional experiences, maintaining affordability without cutting corners and working to reduce stress for families during difficult times. Their own life experiences, they say, shape their commitment to honesty, dependability, and follow-through.

The property itself holds personal significance for the owners. In addition to housing the business, it is where Brad and Diana built their first home together, on the hill behind the former mill site.

Englewood Monuments continues to serve families by honoring stories, preserving memories, and creating lasting tributes, carrying forward a legacy of care, craftsmanship, and family tradition.
