Ronald Dean Corbin, 86, of Bedford, passed away on December 7, 2025, at his home.
He was born on August 23, 1939, in Bedford, Indiana, to the late Harold Corbin and Gertrude Smale Goodman. He married Linda Craig in 1961, and she preceded him in death in 2015. Dean worked as a tool and die maker for General Motors, was a proud member of the UAW, and served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and was a race enthusiast. Most of all, Dean loved his family.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Deana (Parker) Corbin Judah and Nikki (Scotty) Corbin Bex; grandchildren Ana (Matt) Judah Brown, Lance (Christie) Judah, Jonathon (Kayla Montgomery) Bex, and Lauren Bex (Nate) Norman; and his “Grand Sugars,” Aktyn, Westyn, Garrett, Cap, Tripp, Braeleigh, and Raine. He is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Fletcher and Penny Rainy.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Corbin; parents, Harold Corbin and Gertrude Smale Goodman; and ONE brother, Don Corbin.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th Street, Bedford, Indiana 47421, with Pastor Philip Thorne officiating. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m., at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
