Jenny L. Scott, 68, of Bedford, passed away at 4:05 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Hoosier Health & Living in Brownstown.
Born March 27, 1957, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Rev. John E. and Sharon Ann (Bundy) Turner. She first married Daniel R. Perry on May 30, 1975. She later married Daniel Scott on January 17, 2009, and he survives. She worked in the North Lawrence School Corp. from 1989 to 2007, at KMart from 1987 to 2007, and retired from Cook Medical as a customer service representative in 2022. She loved to bowl and was a league member. She was on the 4-H Fair board, was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Bunco Club.
Survivors include her husband, Dan, of Bedford; two sons, Danny (Mandy) Perry, of Owensburg and Jon (Danniel Smoot) Perry, of Shoals; two daughters, Leah Perry (Gary Bowen), of Bedford and Marianna Lloyd (Josh), of Orleans; ten grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beth Dumond.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Lindy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 11th, and from noon until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
