BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Service Area will be operating virtually until 10:00 a.m. today due to weather. This means campus buildings will be closed, but campus offices will operate virtually on a regular schedule. Campus buildings will reopen at 10:00 a.m.
Students:
- Log in to each class in IvyLearn to find the directions posted by their instructors for the virtual class day plan.
- Log in before the course meeting times to be prepared for the live class. Specific guidance for labs or clinicals will be communicated to students by the course instructor or program/school leadership in IvyLearn, email, or other previously planned communication.
- Students can contact the campus virtually by email at askbloomington@ivytech.edu or by calling 812-330-6013.
Faculty:
- Faculty should post announcements in IvyLearn for the day and continue course instruction as planned, using virtual options.
- Additional guidance will be provided to faculty on a programmatic level by the chair and/or dean.
Employees:
- Employees should plan to work on a regular schedule remotely, using remote access just as they would when working virtually any other day.
- If an employee is unable to work remotely, they should contact their supervisor.
- Employees will be available through email and will forward phone calls if applicable.
