HOWARD CO. – On November 19, one individual was arrested after leading an Indiana State Police Trooper on a pursuit in Howard County.
Shortly after 2:00 am, ISP Sergeant Kyle Miller was patrolling near the intersection of Main Street and Markland Avenue in Kokomo, Indiana, when he noticed a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette with its headlights not illuminated. The driver was later identified as 19-year-old Tywaune A. Tucker from Kokomo.

Sgt. Miller attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, Tucker disregarded a red light and fled at high speeds.
The pursuit continued north on Main Street to Harrison Street, where the Corvette left the roadway and struck a brick wall. Tucker was taken into custody without incident, and no injuries were reported in the crash.
Further investigation revealed that Tucker had accessed an unoccupied nearby residence, where the Corvette was located. He was subsequently incarcerated at the Howard County Jail.
As a result of the pursuit and subsequent investigation, the preliminary charges against him are as follows: burglary, residential entry, theft of a vehicle, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, and operating a vehicle without a license.
