David L. Fountain, 89 of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.
David was born in Indianapolis on December 18, 1935, to Wayne and Enid (Lackey) Fountain. David married Wanda K. Parker on December 31, 1960, and she survives.
David retired from General Motors in Bedford in 1997. He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the U.A.W. Local #440 in Bedford, and a member of Dive Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda K. Fountain of Bedford, three children, Denise (Steve) Sandefur of Carlisle, Deana (Kirby) Priddy of Bedford, and Duane (Lisa) Fountain of Bedford, one sister, Ann Smith of Bedford, and seven grandchildren, Dane Fountain, Ky Fountain, Madison Priddy, and Jacob Priddy, Saul Sandefur, Brycen Stewart, and Lexi Stewart, three great-grandchildren, Rilynn Fountain, Eleanor Fountain, and Clint Fountain, and a nephew, Gary Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Shelby Priddy, and niece, Vicky Simmerman.
Private graveside services will be held for David Fountain at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
