JASPER — Dubois County Clerk Amy Kippenbrock officially announced her bid for the Republican nomination for State Representative in Indiana House District 63 in the upcoming 2026 election.

Kippenbrock’s announcement follows the decision by current State Representative Shane Lindauer not to seek re-election, opening up the seat. She aims to transition her experience in county government to the state level, where she will represent the district.
Indiana House District 63 encompasses all of Martin County and includes portions of Dubois, Daviess, and Pike Counties.
In her platform announcement, Kippenbrock laid out a clear set of priorities focusing on local and conservative issues important to the area:
- Strengthening Local Schools: Dedicated support and resources for education within the district.
- Supporting Small Businesses: Championing policies that foster growth and reduce barriers for local enterprises.
- Protecting Conservative Hoosier Values: Upholding traditional conservative principles in state legislation.
- Ensuring Fiscal Responsibility: Committing to prudent financial management and responsible spending in state government.
As the Dubois County Clerk, Kippenbrock has deep roots in the community and is positioning herself as a dedicated conservative voice ready to take on the challenges facing District 63 in the State House.
