Portage man arrested for child exploitation

PORTAGE – On October 29, 2025, Anthony J. Davis, 23, was arrested in the 6400 block of Hannah Drive in Portage. The arrest was the culmination of an investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).

ISP received multiple Cyber Tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) related to cellular telephone/cloud storage activities traced to Davis’s residence and devices.

Investigators served multiple subpoenas and search warrants, which eventually led to a search of his residence.  Several electronic devices were located and seized as evidence.  At least one device was confirmed to contain child sexual abuse materials (CSAM).

Davis was transported to the Porter County Jail and preliminarily booked on a count of Child Exploitation- Level 5 Felony.  Additional charges will be considered after a formal review of the case by the Porter County Prosecutor’s Office.
