Jim Lee Fink, 61, of Bedford, Indiana, passed away at his residence in Bedford on October 27, 2025.
Born June 17, 1964, in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of the late Darell L Fink Sr. and Carolyn June Curry Fink. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years, retiring as a military police officer. His service took him around the world, including nine years in Germany, and the final decade of his career at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Jim’s dedication, discipline, and loyalty to his fellow soldiers reflected the integrity he carried throughout his life.
A 1982 graduate of Bozeman Senior High School in Bozeman, MT, Jim loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jordan (Nate) Duncan; granddaughters, Nikalette Duncan and Savanna Fink; grandsons, Joseph Fink and Josh Fink; siblings, Kenneth Fink, Alesia Perry, and Darell (Lou Ann) Fink; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Kristian Fink; his daughter, Chelsea Fink; his brother-in-law, Don Perry II; and his sister-in-law, Jonelle Fink.
Jim will be remembered for his kind heart, easy smile, and genuine goodness, which he brought to everyone who knew him.
Memorial services for Jim Lee Fink will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating. Visitation will also be held at Ferguson-Lee on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
