BEDFORD — A man was taken into custody by the Lawrence County Sheriff deputies late Monday evening after allegedly violating a no-contact order and making threats while attempting to retrieve personal items from his former apartment.
Jeremiah Zollman, 34, of Cannelburg, was arrested on charges of invasion of privacy and intimidation following an incident that occurred on October 27 at an apartment complex on Maple Ridge. The arrest was detailed in a probable cause affidavit filed by Officer Kaden Flynn.

According to the affidavit, Officer Flynn responded to a threat complaint at approximately 7:32 p.m. Upon arrival, Officer Flynn observed Zollman standing outside the residence he had reportedly been evicted from earlier in the month.
Zollman told the officer he was at the location with the landlord’s permission to collect his belongings. He explained that he had run out of fuel earlier in the day and parked at the complex, later returning between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to gather his possessions. While inside, Zollman claimed he was listening to heavy metal music and singing along.
The situation escalated due to the presence of Zollman’s mother, who lives in an apartment directly across from his former residence. There is an active no-contact order against her son, Zollman, stemming from a previous criminal case.
The mother reported to police that while her son was in the neighboring apartment, he made several loud statements referencing property he believed was inside her apartment. While he did not address her directly, she was close enough to overhear his remarks.
The most serious allegations stemmed from an interaction with Zollman’s brother. The mother reported that after her son noticed his brother recording him through her window, he placed a board in front of the window, an act the mother believed was meant to provoke her. She stated that her son, Zollman, was yelling and demanding the return of his property.
The brother captured a video of the incident on his cell phone. The footage allegedly captures Jeremiah Zollman threatening his brother, stating that if he didn’t exit the apartment, he would hurt him “till he could no longer walk.”
After speaking with both the mother and brother, Captain A. Pope and Sergeant W. Daugherty signaled Officer Flynn to detain Jeremiah Zollman. He was secured in a patrol vehicle, read his Miranda rights, and questioned.
Based on the evidence—including the active no-contact order and the threatening statements captured on video—Officer Flynn concluded there was probable cause to charge Zollman. He was then transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
