LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced a temporary pause in accepting applications for its open truck driver position as officials review resumes already received.
The department said the pause will allow staff time to evaluate current applicants before determining whether to reopen the hiring process.
The truck driver position is part of the county’s Highway Department, which maintains and repairs county roads and infrastructure.
