OOLITIC — The Oolitic Town Council has scheduled an executive session for next week to discuss matters related to economic development.
The closed-door meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 28th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Boardroom at Oolitic Town Hall, 109 Main Street.
The purpose of the executive session, which is not open to the public, is authorized under Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1(4). This section permits a governing body of a political subdivision to meet privately for “interviews and negotiations with individual or commercial prospects or agents of industrial or commercial prospects.”
No final decisions or votes can be taken during an executive session, as the meetings are limited to discussion and information gathering.
