WASHINGTON — A second suspect has been arrested and formally charged as an adult in connection with the armed robbery of the Marathon Gas Station at 409 West National Highway in Washington, Indiana, which occurred early Monday morning.

Washington Police confirmed that 17-year-old Kaleb Biggs of Evansville was taken into custody on Friday without incident. The arrest was a coordinated effort involving the Washington Police Department, the U.S. Marshal Service, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, and the Evansville Police Department.
The Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Biggs as an adult with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and theft of a firearm.

Biggs’s arrest follows the apprehension of the first suspect, 18-year-old Issac Hardcastle, who was arrested on Tuesday outside a residence in the 1200 block of McCormick Avenue.
Hardcastle is facing multiple felony charges, including robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, and theft of a firearm.
Both suspects are facing charges related to the armed incident at the gas station earlier this week. The rapid arrests reflect the inter-agency cooperation between Daviess and Vanderburgh county law enforcement in the investigation.
