LOOGOOTEE – Martin County authorities are currently investigating a fatal two-vehicle accident that occurred early Monday morning at the intersection of US 231 and Highway 50 in Loogootee.
Officials confirmed that the crash involved two vehicles and resulted in one fatality. A victim was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
