SEYMOUR – Seymour capped the Hoosier Hills Conference schedule with a three-set sweep of Bedford North Lawrence during high school volleyball action on Tuesday night.
The Owls (13-14 overall, 2-4 in the league) thumped the Stars 25-9, 25-16, 25-15. BNL fell to 14-14 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
“They are an established program that is known for their scrappy nature,” BNL coach Aaron Wagoner said. “They were very disciplined and kept the volley going for as long as it needed to go. Our girls showed real focus on the serving line tonight, did well there. We also started to find our way in the form of physicality at the net.”
BNL will celebrate Senior Night and host Loogootee (with varsity action starting at 6 p.m.) on Thursday.
