GREENE CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 59 in Greene County.
Beginning on or around Monday, October 13, crews will close State Road 59 between Linton and Sandborn. This closure will occur between County Road West 600 South and County Road West 25 South.
This road closure will allow for four pipe replacement projects. Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 54 to State Road 67. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert in work zones.
