Short-term lane closures planned on I-69 in Monroe County

MONROE CO – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor RAM Construction Services is scheduled to begin a thin bridge deck overlay project on I-69 over Indian Creek on or after Monday, September 29, in Monroe County.

Work will take place on I-69 just over two miles north of State Road 445 (Exit 104). Single lane closures will be in effect on northbound and southbound I-69 while work is in progress. Work is expected to take up to three days at this location, weather permitting.

Additional bridge deck overlay work will take place on I-69 in Monroe County as part of this contract. Further information will be provided as work progresses.

This project is part of a $1.7 million contract awarded to RAM Construction in July 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
