BEDFORD – The North Lawrence Community Schools (NLCS) school board has scheduled two meetings for Thursday, October 9, 2025, to be held at the NLCS Administration Building at 460 W Street in Bedford.
The first meeting, a regular session, is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. It will be immediately followed by a special executive session at 7:00 p.m. The special session will focus on confidential personnel and legal matters, and is closed to the public.
According to the official notice, the topics for the executive session include:
- Receiving information about and interviewing prospective employees, Indiana Code
- § 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(5).
- Discussing the job performance evaluation of individual employees, Indiana Code
- § 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(9).
- Engaging in communications with an attorney that are subject to the attorney-client privilege, Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(19).
