BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Commissioners have approved three independent contractor nursing contracts for the Lawrence County Health Department. Paula Edwards of the Health Department made the request.
The contracts, which will run through December 31, 2026, are for nurses Patty Cottengain of Orleans, Amy Jeffries of Oolitic, and Julie Vandagriff of Bedford. The terms of the contracts remain unchanged from last year, with no pay increase. All three nurses will be compensated at a rate of $28.96 per hour.
