MITCHELL – Lawrence County Highway Superintendent Brian Sowder has announced that the Highway Department will be temporarily closing Georgia Firetower Road for culvert replacement today.
The road closure is expected to be from approximately 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The department is asking for the public’s patience while they work to maintain the roads.
