MOORESVILLE – After a slow start, Bedford North Lawrence rallied to conquer Mooresville in four sets during high school volleyball action on Saturday.
The Stars (7-7) recorded a 16-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-17 victory for their second straight win.
“The first set was fairly clunky,” BNL coach Aaron Wagoner said. “They pulled it together and were able to come away with it. Our setter connected really well with our middles. The outsides started slow but were playing well by the third set. I’m really proud of them for sticking it out. Everyone competed and contributed.”
Sammie Gratzer was the BNL leader at the net with 11 kills and 4 blocks, while Lily Mishler totaled 8 kills and 3 aces. Sara Williams had 13 digs in the back row.
BNL will visit Martinsville on Monday.
