OOLITIC — Registration for the upcoming season of Oolitic Biddy Ball, a youth basketball program, will open Oct. 1 and run through Oct. 31.
The program is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade, regardless of skill level or prior experience. Practices will begin in November, with games starting in December and continuing through February. All games are scheduled for Saturdays at the Dollens Elementary School gymnasium, while practices will take place on weekday evenings or Sunday afternoons.
The cost to participate is $37.31 per child, which includes a team T-shirt. Space is limited, and organizers are encouraging parents and guardians to register early. Registration can be completed online at www.ooliticbiddyball.org.
In addition to players, Oolitic Biddy Ball is seeking referees, as well as scorebook and scoreboard operators. These paid positions are only for game days, and training will be provided for those helping with the scorebook and scoreboard.
