INDIANA — The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has issued a recall for certain Metro Miler G652 tires, size B305/85R22.5, due to a manufacturing defect that could increase the risk of a crash. The recall, identified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as number 25T016, addresses a potential issue with the tire’s inner liner.

According to the recall notice, the inner liner gauge in the shoulder area of the affected tires may be out of specification. This defect could lead to a loss of tire pressure, which in turn increases the risk of a crash.
Goodyear will replace the affected tires free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on or around September 22, 2025.
Owners of these tires can contact Goodyear customer service at 1-800-321-2136 for more information.
