BEDFORD — A water valve that blew off at the construction site of the Limestone Edge Apartments this morning has led to low water pressure and a boil order for several areas of Bedford.
The affected areas include customers from 29th Street south to 39th Street, as well as residents on Shawnee Drive South, in the Industrial Park, and on Austin Drive.
Crews are currently working to repair the recently capped water main. While some customers in the area may be experiencing low pressure now, this could increase as crews prepare for the repair.
A boil order has been issued for all affected areas. Customers are advised to bring all tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, or preparing food.
Crews are working as quickly as possible to restore water service to the affected areas.
