PORTAGE – Property owners who show proof of removal of a woody invasive plant on their private property in Indiana within the Little Calumet-Galien watershed are eligible to receive one free native tree at a replacement tree distribution event.
Replacement tree distribution events will be held at Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (6100 Southport Road, Portage, IN 46368) on the following dates:
- Friday, Sept. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.
