WARREN CO. – On August 29, 2025, just after 10:00 p.m., first responders responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on State Road 28 near County Road E 50 S.
A preliminary investigation by Trooper Fulfer revealed that a 2025 Ram 2500 was traveling eastbound on State Road 28. At the same time, a 2003 Buick Park Avenue was traveling westbound and, for an unknown reason, crossed left of center and struck the Ram.
The driver of the Buick was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner. The Warren County Coroner’s Office has not released the name of the deceased at this time. The driver of the Ram was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Trooper Fulfer was assisted at the scene by Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Attica Police Department, the Warren County Coroner’s Office, local fire departments, and EMS personnel.
This crash remains under investigation by the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction team.
