Sheila K. Taylor, 68, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born on November 2, 1956, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Warner and Ruth (Eggers) Ross. Sheila married Jerry Taylor on October 11, 1974. She worked at Bedford Medical Center as a clinic administration manager. She was also an active member of the care ministry at Highland Village Church in Bloomington, IN, alongside her husband, Jerry.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; their children, Brent Taylor and wife Heather, Jamie Baker and husband Wade, Jared Taylor and wife Shanda; grandchildren, Braxton Taylor, Clayton Taylor and wife Ava, and Addisson Taylor and daughter Hallie, Jaylen Gillihan, Levi Mitchell, Mason Taylor, Maya Taylor, and one sister, Karen Ross.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5th, at the Highland Village Church, at 515 Curry Pike in Bloomington. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4th, at Day & Carter Mortuary, and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at Highland Village Church.
