INDIANA — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has announced that the youth deer hunting weekend is scheduled for September 27-28.
Hunters are advised to prepare in advance, as high volumes of traffic are expected in the DNR’s new licensing system, the Activity Hub, on September 10, 17, and 26.
Important changes to youth accounts in the new system:
- You will need to re-link a child or other person to your account, even if they were linked in the previous system.
- The process for linking an account differs from the old system.
- In the new system, a “youth account” is defined as an account for a person under 13 years old. The previous system described it as someone under 18 years old. This change will affect how you manage a child’s account.
