WEST BADEN SPRINGS– The West Baden Springs Town Council is thrilled to announce the opening of the new splash pad at the West Baden Springs Community Park. After months of planning and construction, the splash pad officially opened to the public on Saturday, August 16th.

The splash pad is the latest in a series of significant park improvements spearheaded by the West Baden Springs Town Council and the Citizens for Park Improvement and Community Wellness. These enhancements were made possible in part by a $247,000 grant from the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) 1.0, awarded by the Indiana Uplands READI steering committee and Regional Opportunity Initiatives.
The upgrades have transformed the park into a more vibrant and inclusive space, with additions that include:
- Multi-use trails
- New playground equipment
- An ADA-accessible concession stand
- Upgraded lighting
- Accessible sidewalks
- Flood mitigation measures
- Pickleball and tennis courts
The town council hopes these improvements will benefit both residents and visitors, making the park a central hub for community recreation.
