BEDFORD – Lawrence County has announced the dates for its upcoming 2025 Budget Hearings. The public meetings will be held at various times from late August through early October to discuss departmental budget requests and the overall budget adoption.
The meetings will be held at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
The schedule for the 2025 Budget Hearings is as follows:
Departmental Budget Requests
- Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Solid Waste Review and Budget Run-Through
- Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Public Hearing
- Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Budget and Solid Waste Adoption
- Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
