BEDFORD — The City of Bedford is reminding residents that curbside recycling is collected every other week on the same day as automated trash service.
A rear-load truck picks up recycling tubs in neighborhoods alongside trash collection. Recyclables do not need to be separated into categories, and residents may use additional containers such as five-gallon buckets, crates, or trash cans.

All materials collected are sorted and processed by Rumpke Recycling.
Between scheduled pickups, recyclables can also be dropped off at the Recycling Center, 3326 Mitchell Road. The center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m.
