Vivian Pace, 89, of Bedford, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at White River Lodge in Bedford, IN.
Born August 18, 1936, she was the daughter of William and Esther (Woodward) Chapman. She married Jerry Lee Harnasch in 1957, and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1982. She then married Everett ‘Mac’ Pace, and he also preceded her in death in 2004.
Vivian was a graduate of Shawswick High School with the class of 1954, and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved quilting and was an excellent seamstress, and previously worked at CoTronics in Logansport, IN.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, LeeAnn H. Abner and Beth Johnson; two grandchildren, Ryan Draper and Jessica Draper; one great-grandson, Aiden Larkin; sister-in-law, Portia Chapman; two nieces, two nephews, and three stepchildren.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, William Wayne Chapman and Esther (Woodward) Chapman; both husbands, Jerry L. Harnasch and Everett “Mac” Pace; one granddaughter, Emily Anne Johnson; and one brother, Bill Wayne Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes. A graveside service will be held at Cresthaven Memory Gardens in Bedford, IN, at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, with Pastor Lal Rin Awma officiating.
