BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Council has announced it will hold an executive session on August 28, 2025, immediately following its scheduled budget hearing.
The session will take place at the Lawrence County Courthouse, located at 916 15th Street, Suite 28, in Bedford.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss confidential employee information, as permitted by Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1(b) (9&10) and IC 5-14-1.5-5.
According to the official notice, no formal action will be taken during the executive session, and no public comments will be allowed. Executive sessions are closed to the public by state law to allow for the discussion of sensitive matters.
