
ELLETTSVILLE – Bedford North Lawrence went the distance while conquering Edgewood in a five-set battle during high school volleyball action on Monday night.
The Stars remained unbeaten with a tough 25-22, 19-25, 28-26, 12-25, 18-16 triumph over the Mustangs (2-2). BNL improved to 3-0.
“Kudos to Edgewood,” BNL coach Aaron Wagoner said. “They played with a lot of maturity and grit. They served very tough and were not easy to overpower. A few breaks went our way and we were able to scrape out a win.”
Sammie Gratzer paced the BNL attack with 21 kills while Lily Mishler added 10 kills. Sara Williams had 23 digs on the back row.
BNL will return home to host Bloomfield on Tuesday.
