Owner of Sellersburg business arrested for corrupt business practices and other felony charges

SELLERSBURG – A Clark County massage parlor owner was arrested Wednesday on multiple felony charges following a months-long investigation by the Indiana State Police.

In February 2025, Detective Tim Denby of the Indiana State Police Special Investigations, Organized Crime and Corruption Unit received reports of alleged illegal activities at Asian Massage, located in Hometown Plaza at the intersection of State Road 60 and County Road 311 in Sellersburg, Indiana.

Detective Denby’s investigation, which involved subpoenas of business and financial records and other investigative methods, identified Yonghua Fang Thrasher, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, as the owner and operator of Asian Massage. With assistance from the Indiana Department of Revenue, the investigation uncovered an alleged theft of $16,554 in unpaid state and county taxes.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Clark County Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant for Thrasher, charging her with corrupt business influence, a Level 5 felony, two counts of theft, Level 6 felony, two counts of tax evasion, Level 6 felonies, and failure to allow access to records, a Level 6 felony.

Thrasher was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Detective Denby without incident and was remanded into the Clark County Jail, where she is being held on a $10,000 full cash bond.
