WASHINGTON — A police pursuit early Tuesday morning concluded with a crash and the arrest of a juvenile driver.
According to authorities, the incident began around 2 a.m. when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop near NW 8th and Main Streets. The vehicle fled, leading police on a chase through various city streets.
The pursuit ended when the suspect’s car crashed into several parked vehicles at Lovett Car Sales, located at the intersection of State Road 57 and Center Street. While multiple passengers fled the scene on foot, officers were able to apprehend the juvenile driver.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, but multiple vehicles were damaged. The juvenile was transported to the police station, and the incident remains under investigation.
