PAOLI – IU Health Paoli Hospital is proud to announce its third Pathway to Excellence ® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for its commitment to safeguarding caregiver wellbeing, a positive practice environment, and a culture of sustained excellence.

Michele Ridge, DNP, RN, NE-BC, IU Health Paoli Hospital, and IU Health Morgan Chief Nursing Officer said, “This designation represents a practice environment that is focused on quality and interprofessional collaboration. A designation that represents an organization that supports shared governance, the voice of the nurses in care that impacts patient care, safety, quality, self-care, and professional development. This is about the daily work of the team at Paoli.”
Whitney Zapien, RN, IU Health Paoli Hospital Pathway to Excellence Coordinator and Obstetrics Clinical Manager, said, “Pathway to Excellence Designation is a testament to our ongoing commitment to making IU Health Paoli Hospital a great place to work. The designation is a direct reflection of the amazing team we have at IU Health Paoli.”

The Paoli team celebrated this third designation at a cruise-themed event.
