SEYMOUR – Motorists traveling southbound on I-65 in Jackson County should anticipate a lane closure today, as Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) crews conduct routine overhead signage inspection.
The work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of the day, weather permitting. During this maintenance operation, the far left lane of southbound I-65, just north of Seymour (Exit 50), will be closed to traffic.
The middle and right lanes will remain open, allowing traffic to continue flowing through the area.
INDOT urges drivers to exercise caution, slow down, and remain vigilant when approaching and navigating work zones. Avoiding distractions is also critical to ensuring the safety of both motorists and construction personnel.
