BEDFORD – As the region continues to grapple with extreme heat, the Men’s Shelter, located at 1414 H Street, in Bedford, has announced extended hours of operation through Wednesday, July 30th.
The center will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to provide relief and essential services to the community.
The Cooling Center welcomes anyone in need of respite from the high temperatures. Visitors can utilize the facility to cool off, enjoy a meal, access shower and laundry facilities, and receive various support services.
Community members are encouraged to utilize these free resources to stay safe and comfortable during the ongoing heatwave.
