SEYMOUR – Four individuals were arrested Thursday evening after a traffic stop in Seymour led to the discovery of multiple drugs, paraphernalia, and a significant amount of cash.
Seymour Police Department officers were patrolling the area of US 50 and US 31 around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, when they observed a silver Ford SUV commit traffic infractions, prompting them to initiate a stop.
During the traffic stop, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle and its four occupants. The search resulted in the seizure of several grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl, syringes, marijuana, paraphernalia, and a large amount of U.S. currency. Additionally, assisting officers witnessed one of the passengers attempt to inconspicuously toss a baggy of suspected methamphetamine onto the ground while speaking with them.
