Cooling Stations remain open amidst extreme heat

MONROE CO. – With extreme temperatures posing a serious threat to health and safety, Monroe County has activated several cooling stations across the area to provide temporary relief for residents. These facilities offer a cool and refreshing space for individuals to escape the heat.

The cooling stations will be open from Friday, June 20, through Saturday, June 28, 2025. It’s essential to note that these locations are intended for temporary relief only and do not provide food, showers, or sleeping accommodations.
