INDIANA – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites the public to enhance their shooting skills this summer at various public shooting ranges located throughout the state. These ranges, situated within many Fish & Wildlife areas, lakes, and forests, offer a safe and controlled environment for individuals and families to sharpen their archery, trap, skeet, pistol, or rifle abilities.
The DNR highlights these ranges as ideal locations for both experienced shooters and newcomers eager to learn more about shooting sports.
To use the ranges, individuals must be at least 18 years old or be accompanied by an adult. Operating hours and pricing may vary by location, and this information can be found on the DNR Shooting Range webpage.
