Brian Lee Banks, 54, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at IU Health Bloomington Hospice House.
Born June 9, 1970, in Bedford, Brian was the son of John H. and Sharon K. (Daugherty) Banks. Brian had been employed by Bob Evans Restaurant, Ruler Foods, and owned and operated Brian’s Lawn Service.
Brian grew up in the country, hunting, fishing, and riding his horse. Brian wanted to be a cowboy and ride his horse in parades, which he was able to do a few times.
His survivors include his son James Banks of Bedford, his brother Dennis Banks of Bedford, his sister Cathy Banks of Bedford, an uncle, and several cousins.
Brian’s family will always be grateful for the warm, compassionate care he received from everyone at Majestic Care Bedford, IU Health Bedford Oncology/Infusion, IU Health Bedford Radiation Oncology, and IU Health Bloomington Hospice House.
Brian never gave up hope, because all of you never gave up hope.
A graveside Memorial Service will be held for Brian at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 2,4 at Springville West Cemetery.
