BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington South conquered Bedford North Lawrence 316-329 during boys high school golf action at Bloomington Country Club on Thursday.
Carson Gady earned medalist honors for the Panthers with a round of 78, while Colton Watson and Owen Graber posted 79s. Tyler Bellush and Evan Tillett paced the Stars with 81s while Coleson Stiles carded 82.
“I thought we hit the ball pretty well, but we lost some shots on and around the greens,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “That led to big numbers on a couple of holes. The greens were really quick, and there was a little bit of an adjustment period to get them figured out.
“We are only a few weeks out from the sectional now, so this is the time that we really want the guys to start rounding into form.”
BNL will compete in the Franklin Invitational on Saturday.
